Crystal & Matt exude happiness in everything they do. It’s so much fun to work with a couple who loves to laugh as much as we do. We traveled up to Ball State’s campus for their engagement shoot, as that’s where they met, shared many-a-laughs, and fell in love.

Let me formally introduce Alvin, their 2-year old Corgi. Such a handsome little pup!

I may have had a small love affair with Crystal’s eyes. Absolutely gorgeous! Crystal, you are stunning!

Laura & Zach are such a sweet couple. We were honored when Laura contacted us last year about shooting her upcoming wedding, as we shot her sister’s wedding a couple of years ago (remember Sarah?). We LOVE it when that happens! I just know that Laura and Zach are going to have such an amazing wedding day – and we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to document your love.

I love that these photos were taken here in Indy, but it kinda makes me feel like we were in the Pacific Northwest or something. OK, maybe it’s just me because I’m wanting to travel there. But still, I mean, c’mon. Who’s with me?!

This tree is perfect for a tree house. Or maybe a tree mansion.

If you’ve followed this blog for awhile, then you’ve seen this sweet family. Remember itty-bitty Jonah? Well, he’s now 1 year old and doing all sorts of adorable things. And Maya…well, Maya is hysterical! She’s 3 and a little ball of energy.

She spent the first half of the shoot running around the park. Smiling the whole time.

Love these two. So cute!

Wait, where’d March go?

Soooo, it’s April. Which means that we have a 6-month old baby. Aaaand it means that we are shooting again! WAAAHOOO! I’m excited and humbled to say that our schedule is booked through June. So if you have been thinking about scheduling a session with us, be sure to plan a little bit ahead so we can get you booked!

Life with Oscar has been amazing. Being a mother is crazy – it’s such an emotional roller coaster (“Why, oh WHY, won’t he sleep?”, “Aahhh, he’s asleep. (10 minutes later) All I want to do is wake him up to play with him!”), – but it’s something I wouldn’t trade for anything. I try to update Oscar’s blog frequently, but I want to give him a shout-out here as well. Look at this sweet face? Ahh, gets me every time.

Mary & Aaron love to spend time at Victory Field cheering on the Indianapolis Indians – and when Mary mentioned that she’d like to do some photos at the field, we made it happen (well, us and our friend with the keys to the stadium)!

Hooray for shooting again! We started off the photography shooting season this past weekend with this cute family – you may recognize Miss Ella as she’s been on this blog before. Well, now Ella’s parents, Sara & Caleb, have added little Bruce to the family. And MAN, talk about blonde hair and pretty blue eyes!!

Love the little tie on his onesie. Too cute.

Kassie & Adam celebrated their marriage on Leap Day (errr…Leap Year’s Day…or do I just say Leap Year? Eh, go with it), which also happened to be on a Wednesday – a.k.a. Hump Day. So Kassie & Adam had a Leapy/Humpy wedding day. In all seriousness, these two had an incredibly amazing wedding day – for starters, it was 60 degrees and sunny. In February. In Indiana. Most importantly, they shared their day with some awesome friends and family – and we are so thrilled that they asked us to share in their special day.

I love this. The “goofy ladies photo” is always a favorite of mine from a wedding day.

It’s not often that we get a couple that wants to do their engagement shoot in February. But we were excited to shoot again – it’s been almost two months or so since we last had a happy couple in front of our cameras! It was a beautiful February evening – the sun was shining beautifully but the wind was frigid cold. These two braved the cold awesomely, and I think it’s needless to say we did a lot of snuggly photos so they could keep warm. And Brandon and I even joined in the snuggle-fest, too, from time to time. Ha, just kidding – we’re not those kind of photographers….or are we? (OH, and by the way, LOVED the outfits these two wore. They looked gooooood.)
